About Isobel and Tim
Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine is the oldest system of healing known today. At its core is a recognition that body mind spirit are an integrated whole. Treatment recognises that many diseases come from underling patterns of disharmony. The goal of treatment is to restore harmony and to provide the conditions to create a new state of health.
Tim and Isobel have practised Chinese Medicine for 40 years. They have run clinics in England and Wales, treating with Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs. Isobel is a Fellow of the British Acupuncture Council and Tim is a member of the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine. Isobel is part of a team running supervision groups and training, and offers 1:1 mentoring to acupuncture practitioners.
Isobel Cosgrove
Isobel taught Human Sciences in the USA and then at Newcastle and Oxford Universities in the 1960s and ‘70s. In 1978 she studied Yoga and Tibetan Medicine in Canada, then Chinese Medicine in the UK, and has been in practice for 40 years. More
Tim Davis
Tim Davis has studied and practised Chinese Medicine since 1984. He has a licentiate in Five Element Acupuncture, and diplomas in Chinese Herbal Medicine and Jing Fang classical herbalism. More

We work in Spectrum Studio Highgate as part of a mature and experienced group of clinicians who have been members of and studied at Spectrum Therapy, established in North London in 1976.
Tim and Isobel have completed all the psychotherapy training modules at Spectrum, which supports their holistic approach to health.
Spectrum Studio Highgate provides a high standard of psychotherapy, acupuncture and herbal therapies. At the core of the work we do as a collective is to recognise that body, mind and spirit are an integrated whole. Life is experienced through the body. Psychological and physical health are connected and each needs to be attended to.
